The Academics Team focuses on building cadets’ knowledge of naval science, military history, current events, and leadership principles. Cadets compete in academic competitions against other NJROTC units, testing their critical thinking, teamwork, and retention of curriculum-based material. The team encourages intellectual growth and prepares cadets for success both in and out of the classroom.
